This Statement of Privacy applies to the Vienna SDA Church Web site and Church Service and governs data collection and usage as well as our published materials. By using the Vienna SDA Church website, or by attending our church services, implies consent to the data practices described in this statement.
OUR CHURCH SERVICE IS STREAMED OVER THE INTERNET
By worshipping in our church, one may appear on our webcasts. If one serves on the platform, you may appear in a recognizable manner. Your name may be mentioned and therefore also streamed. A view of your children, who come up for the children’s story may also be streamed. Only the sermons are usually archived.
COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Vienna SDA Church collects personal information, such as, but not limited to: e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Vienna SDA Church also collects anonymous demographic information such as, but not limited to, ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites. Names, pictures and phone numbers may appear on our online directory, however all other information is kept only on our church’s computers. You are able to opt out of appearing on our online directory by notifying our office. Our online directory is generally an unsecure location and that is the reason why we only keep name, picture and phone numbers.
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Vienna SDA Church does not sell, rent or lease its member lists to third parties. Vienna SDA Church may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send email or postal mail, provide customer support or phone calls. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Vienna SDA Church, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of information. Vienna SDA Church does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations.
